Description:The Best Western Executive Suites is seeking a full-time Front Desk Agent to join our team at our Redwood City hotel.

We are looking for the ideal candidate to be the face of our property. Our ideal candidate will be an individual creative enough to host our lobby area and to work as part of our Guest Service team to meet our guests needs; this individual must be able to multi-task and be willing to go above and beyond to exceed our guests’ expectations. This job entails the functions of a front desk agent, concierge, lobby greeter and whatever else it takes to keep our guests happy.

This fun-loving person must possess a positive attitude, understand how to read people and be very outgoing, energetic, have a great personality and wonderful smile. You must be able to work well independently yet be a team player.

The Best Western Executive Suites is owned and operated by BPR Properties of Palo Alto. BPR Properties is a small family owned and oriented company focusing its efforts in Northern California and operating a variety of full and limited service hotels which include branded and independent boutique properties.

Duties:The Front Desk Agent performs the function of checking guest in and out of the hotel, answering phones, making reservations, directing guests to city-wide activities, dealing with computers, making reservations and making the guests’ experience as pleasant as possible.

Qualifications:If you have a passion for guest service, at least 1 year of hotel front desk experience and/or night audit experience and strive for excellence in everything you do, then you might be our person. We want the best of the best!

Candidate must be able to lift up to 25lbs and stand for an 8 hour shift. Candidate must be able to communicate effectively in English in person and on the phone. Candidate must be 18 years of age or older. Candidate must have proof of eligibility to work in the United States, and be able to pass a drug test & background check.
